Objective
To provide one-time food assistance (brown box) to vulnerable families registered in the WFP database in Gaza. Beneficiary families receive SMS messages specifying the date and location of collection from participating distribution points.

Collection Mechanism

  • Beneficiaries receive an SMS with the collection date and location.

  • Names are selected from the WFP registered database.

  • Assistance is provided one time only.

  • Collection is from designated distribution points.

  • Original ID must be presented at collection.

  • Assistance is available only on the specified date.

  • After the specified date, beneficiaries are no longer eligible.

Collection Requirements

  • Receipt of an SMS from CRS.

  • Original personal ID.

  • Attendance at the specified distribution point.

  • Commitment to the scheduled time.

  • Prior registration in the WFP database.

WFP Registration
To benefit from future assistance, registration or data updates must be completed through the official WFP registration platform. Beneficiaries are selected from the registered database.
